You don’t have to trade your authenticity for opportunity. You don’t have to edit your essence to be worthy. You are allowed to be all of who you are — and still build beautiful, meaningful things.
I've always wondered about this, because I'm someone who doesn't know how to hold back. I want to be free to be myself, and I had to restrict my clients from seeing my status on WhatsApp because of the perception issue.
This was insightful and if I’m being honest, my current reality sits between being enough and feeling the need to still measure up. I love creating and curating, I love showing up as myself but then there’s this idea gnawing at the back of my head that I need to show up a certain way to be taken seriously or no one would listen or I can stick to showing up the way I do but the audience will trickle in very slowly.
Lumina is here! Love it.
